Four-Tier Access Control
At the centre of Zuppgate is a four-tier access control architecture, designed to accommodate different security and operational requirements. Physical access is not identical across every organisation: a routine office visit and a visit to a more restricted environment may require different levels of verification and oversight. Our four tiers allow organisations to choose the process appropriate to their requirements, bringing flexibility to how access is authorised and checked.
The purpose is to make verification proportionate and practical, with a clear procedure for the people implementing it. Hosts and administrators define the conditions of access, visitors understand the steps they must complete, and security teams follow the checks required by the selected tier. This creates a consistent framework for managing access while allowing organisations to apply the level of control their setting demands.
